Fildok — a free, secure office workspace in the browser
A SaaS product built and managed by Data Forge: Fildok lets people create, edit and organize Office documents and PDFs online, with private storage, OCR and integrated PDF tools.
The challenge
People need a straightforward way to work with documents without relying on installed desktop software, while retaining security, privacy and genuinely useful conversion tools. The challenge was to bring office editing, file management, OCR and PDF operations into one coherent web experience, available in French, Arabic and English.
The solution
We designed Fildok as a browser-first office platform powered by OnlyOffice. Every account has a private file workspace with folders, previews and quota controls. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files open directly in the browser with reliable saving. The product adds a full PDF-tool suite, multilingual OCR for images and scans, email and Google authentication, and a guest flow for trying public tools. Fildok is a Data Forge product, built and managed by our team.
Our approach
Espace fichiers privé
Dossiers, prévisualisations, renommage, déplacement, suppression et quotas sont organisés par compte pour garder les documents personnels et accessibles.
Édition dans le navigateur
Les documents Office et PDF sont ouverts dans OnlyOffice, avec sauvegarde automatique ou manuelle et persistance vérifiée côté serveur.
Conversion et OCR
Les outils PDF couvrent notamment la fusion, la séparation, la compression, la protection, le filigrane, la conversion et l’OCR de scans en français, arabe et anglais.
Sécurité et accès
Les fichiers sont privés par défaut, analysés à l’import, et l’accès est protégé par une authentification email ou Google.
